Set amidst 11/2 acres of well established gardens, there are 2 self catering apartments in a shared courtyard with barbeque and 3 motel-style rooms, opposite the beautiful tarwin river, each with its own patio area. The tarwin craft market is held in the village each public holiday monday. There are kangaroos, koalas, wombats and a wealth of bird life in the immediate vicinity. We are only minutes from venus bay's five patrolled surf beaches, jet skiing and swimming, boating, the anderson inlet for fishing, point smythe for bushwalking and bald hill wetlands for bird watching. On the banks of the tarwin river we have the longest barbeque table in victoria which seats 120 people, a riverside boardwalk, fishing platforms and boat ramp. On the cape liptrap coastal tourist route to wilson's promontory, tennis courts and the famous riverview hotel (adjacent to our property) which provides meals, tarwin lower boasts shops, atmosphere and regular entertainment. Each room is equipped with tv, kettle, toaster, fridge, hair dryer, ceiling fan, heater, clock radio, crockery and glasses. The motel-style rooms have one double or queen size bed, at least one single bed (one room has an additional single bed) and en suite with shower. There is also a studio apartment with double bed, full kitchen and ensuite with shower. This apartment can be let as a one bedroom unit. There is one 2 bedroom apartment with queen and 2 singles, separate sitting room/dining area with fully equipped kitchen and bathroom with shower. Nearby attractions include stony creek races and go-kart track, plus the usual eclectic MIX of restaurants, an abundance of quality vineyards and famous local farm produce, the famous koonwarra store (centre for south gippsland's "slow food festival"), walkerville's lime kilns and lighthouse, caf�s and bistros associated with a holiday by the water.
